D500 keypad suddenly stopped working HELP!!! - GSM-Forum

Hi. Have posted this here but also elsewhere because I am desperate! My D500 keypad has suddenly stopped working and I can't access it. I charged up the battery the other night as it had run out of juice and turned itself off. When I came to turn it back on, it asked for pin code and I couldn't enter it as keypad wouldn't register.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Is it easily fixed or should I send it to the bin?
Could really do with finding a remedy as it's got lots of photos on of my kids that can't be replaced.
Someone please help..............................

THis can be fixed but it will cost too much to replaxce the parts
first you will need to change the keypadboard

bad answer!

it takes no parts to fix this, 2 minute job with a rework station.

better take it to a profesional, look to pay approx £15 GBP
