d500 please slide up when taking photo? - GSM-Forum

After fitting a new cover all buttons are ok, when opening slide it doesnt unlock keypad, and when trying to take a photo, it says please slide up.
Any ideas?

Casing is not Fixed properly, is it a white casing you have put on black D500 ? Please check the casing make sure every thing is as it suppose to be.

Got it sorted, i have recovered a few d500's with no probs but this one had no magnet in front.

I replaced lcd screen in d500 but i have not put the magnet back in. Can anyone tell me where the magnet goes please? I need very detailed instructions cos I've tried all day to find where to put it, please help, thanks in advance

just put the original back plate from the front cover back on and problem solved
