D500 Slider Problem - GSM-Forum

I've recently changed part of the facia on my phone, (the part I changed was the facia the window sits on.)

I've put the phone back together and it works apart from when I engage the slider, the phone does not switch on.

I've read about a magnet but the descriptions regarding it's location are very vague. I've checked the old bit of facia but can find no sign of a magnet.

Could someone please post a pic of the part of the facia that contains the magnet?

Lastly, if the magnet has somehow been lost, is it possible to get a replacement?

I also have the similar problem, but I put the PCB board in another working case, the phone still can't recognize the slide. So in my case the board is defective, can anyone give me some ideas to repair?
