D600 Active Slider not working - GSM-Forum

OK I've just changed the fascia as the other was pretty poor but having done that my active slider isn't working now whereas it was before. I've taken the phone apart again and can't see what would be causing the problem (although I can't see how the actual slider works tbh) everything else is fine.

Another obvious downside is there is no keypad lock as the slider must be in a constant open state.

OK fixed my own problem, just spotted a tiny bar on the original housing which I have just tested with my screwdriver and found it to be a magnet

Just need to put a dot on the bar now to ensure I get the correct polarity when I place it into the new fascia haha
