Blartiartfast No Life Poster Join Date: May 2001 Location: U.K Age: 53 Posts: 1,425 Member: 4611 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68	D600 only switches on at battrery contact Had a D600 brought to us today. It only switches on when you connect the battery. After this all functions work fine apart from two things. It goes nuts if you connect the external speaker (screen scrambles), and the power button will neither switch the phone off, or cancel a call. Had a look at the varistors on the top section...Seemed fine and even removed them just to make sure, and fitted a new ribbon. Any ideas???
