D900 drains battery fast

2 piece of brand new D900- bat holds for 12 hours max! Any ideas! thanks very much!

friend first of all check short capasitor on power line
second check PA , open PA then check if consumption goes to low then you should change PA

it's due to a little squar chipin the bottom of the battry cell it's getting hot
change it and all be ok

just remove it but u can't flash it any more because the phone don't connect any more with usb or rj45 cable

No I can't and there is a small black square near back-up battery that gets hot when it's charging ...

hi,i have d900 was water damaged and dead,after i clean body and heat body now its ok but sometimas goes off by its self.anybody with idea plz!.

Hi there i have the same problem with my d900.It used to work just fine and then the battery started to run out in 4hours!i bought another two batteries but the problem is not the battery i think.So do i have to open the cell?i opened the battery and its a solid chunk of metal (the original one) whats PA ?
