any solution for this problem in i9000?

after any flash of any frimware
E:format_volume: rfs format failed on/dev/block/mmcblk0p2

if i go into recovery and try wipe data of phone , same prblem.

it seem internal memory is bad ? any solution other then replacing the chip >?

Flashing stock rom with re partition ticked fixes this problem or use repair kit

Try and get a hold of Stock Gingerbread firmware with individual files (including bootloaders) like JVZ Firmware

use odin

Procedure:

1. Get the phone to the Download Mode
2. Select PIT (usually 512)
3. Select BOOTLOADER (APBOOT)
4. Select PDA (CODE)
5. Select PHONE (MODEM)
6. Select CSC (CSC)
7. If 'Re-Partition' is not checked under 'Option', check it.
8. Press the Start button

ur efs is damaged repair efs via riff box it will be ok

phone is no longer in here.
i couldnt fix it.
from all my search its something with bad internal memory.
i saw online ppl could fix this problem with external memory card but couldnt find the way to do it.
next time i'll try riff
