E700 LCD screen blank - GSM-Forum

I recently got an LCD screen on my E700 repaired at a shop. Initially it went blank but was visible with the flip half open (although after a while this wasn't even visible). It worked for about 3 days after the repair before going blank again, and each time the LCD went blank it was when I was composing an SMS message. Any ideas, something came loose or was it just a bodgy repair job? Problem with the repair job is that I did it overseas before I came back to my home country.

Two solutions

1) make jumpers across the strip and it will work ok for a few days.

2) permanent solution, change the damn display
