E800 Slide problem - GSM-Forum

Got an E800 but when I slide the phone up and down the phone does not react. Is there like a magnet or something somewhere on th e phone which i can check as I canlt seem to find it

it's only screws.....and i think the flex-cable was damaged causing phones NR ....it's very easy to dis-assy (sorry but i don't have manual to share)

I can disassemble that's not the problem, but I need to know what part in the phone actually activates the keypad lock, end call, etc when the slide is opened or closed ?!
