G928T parts replacement help - GSM-Forum

Dear All
i got my hand on a G928T in cheap price with some problems.
First the phone starts and works fine except for imei unknown and baseband unknown.
upon inspection, i opened the back cover and removed the Logic Board.
So, the Phone (case + charging + LCD) is from G928T.

the logic board is from G928F.
will this work or should i replace the logic board to G928T or maybe change the charging post and LCD ? i installed G928F but still no imei. and logic board dont accept the G928T Tmobile Software.

hi
display g928t and g928f are compatible or the same ..the problem is another sw or hw ..for software is clear that not accept g928t firmware if it'is a g928f. try to , reflash a g925f firmware (4 files , modem , pda , csc , boot) after type *#1234* and check if there's the modem if not resolve ,use a box ,root , reset efs and write new cert .

i flashed G928F. 4 files / engineer binary / clean Home rom
nothing. still same. dont know problem from antennas or something else.
i am thinking to buy G928T logic board and install it to see if it makes any difference.
maybe lcd is compatible, what about other components ? Charging dock, antennas and so on. they are stamped G928T. are they compatible?
i am now downloading the 4files for u3. will flash and post

i flashed the 4files rom, still nothing... same problem.
i think board is not compatible.
when i turn on the phone, in every screen after the SAMSUNG S6 LOGO, i can see shadow of previous home screen of G928T. its like a permanent background in all screens starting with Samsung Logo till the rom & download screen.
