Galaxy Note 2 wont connect to computer, even changed usb board. Please help!!!

Hi Guys

I hope someone can help me I have a very strange problem. My galaxy note 2 is not detected by my computer at all (Not a driver issue, not seen at all) It charges fine.

Things I've tried so far are 6 different cables,

4 different Computers,

Reset phone to stock out of box state.

And the one that gets me the most is I even changed the whole USB board assembly. (I was sure it had to be a broken USB port

Still no joy.

The problem now is if I can't connect it to my computer I can't reroot through Odin.

Any Ideas?

I just need to get it to connect to odin for a minute to root.

Is there any test points on the board?

Thanks in advance.

Note II USB Connection issue

I'm having eh same problem and actually have a second Note II this week that won't connect. I had a cracked screen and they gave me a new phone but the new phone won't connect either. Tried multiple cords, desktops, etc. Rsinstalled drivers, etc..... Went into developer options on teh phone as was instructed and that didn't work....

Any help out there. This is frustrating not being able to copy media to the desktop since the 4.4 update.

I have been having the same problem aswell, I have rooted GT-N7100 , suddenly one day my computer stopped recognizing the phone. The phone is charging well, I have CWM recovery, I installed coustom roms, changed the usb flex cable,,, twice, changed charging cables new and old, tried on several computers, removed motherboard , all the connectors, reconnected, but still the computer cannot identify the phone. On *#0808# , as advised above , it says connection problem or invalid MMI code.
