Member: 1983765 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Galaxy S3 I9300 front camera doesnt focus Im new in this forum, congrat! bunch of amazingly interesting information. Well, I drop my Galaxy S3 I9300 in to sea (salted) water. I switched it off, dried it for a couple of days and switched it on. Everything worked but the cambera and the GPS. I took it apart, cleaned the mention areas in the board ( lot of white stuff around) and I put it together. GPS works now, and the camera starts up and takes pictures, the it doesnt focus -> totally useless camera. I would asume that focus is a SW issue, but it is strange that this happend after the water problem (it was working perfectly before). Do you know any particular component that I should check? do yo think that replacing the camera module could help? The connctor was quite messy, but other than that, i looks ok. Please help, i cant live without the camera option Thanks a lot! |
