Galaxy SII I9100 took a toilet dive Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy SII I9100. A few days ago, I accidentally dropped it in the toilet. The phone went off afterwards. I removed the battery, disassembled it & ****n it with room temperature air. Then I left it for 3 days in a bag of rice to dry. After 3 days, I tried to switch on but it was dead, even tried with another battery. I noticed some salt on the board, so I cleaned it with a toothbrush & alcohol. Tried again to switch on, still dead. I noticed that when connecting the charger, the phone overheats near the flash. After some googling, I discovered that the IC U501 is the one which is overheating. I am in desperate need to recover the data on the phone by any way possible. Anybody can support me to fix the problem? How to detect if there is a possible short on the board? Will connecting the phone to RIFF JTAG do any help? Thx. |
this is a hardware problem and any box will not help you to recover your phone. if you are not a hardware technician then better go to the repair centre to fix your phone. dont try yourself if you are not an authorize person :D br;) |
