Member: 2003311 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | GT-C3300K does the 7pin micro USB connector needs the original charger ? I replaced a broken micro usb port at a GT-C3300K and now the phone shows charger disconnected although it is connected .In adition when i turn the phone on when i connect the charger it shows that it charges but when i disconnect it it shows it keeps charging. Does anybody here knows if the original charger has only +5V and GND or it has any feedback from the +Vbat from the phone ? |

Member: 2003311 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I tried at another same phone with the micro usb off to give voltage from the power supply. 1,2 from left as you look pcb and the phone upright GND and 7 +5.2V. The phone starts charging but when you turn it on it thinks it is connected to pc. So someone of the other pins play some role. If fomebody has an old original charger and may give me the solution i will be grateful |

Member: 2003311 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | after some searching on the web i found out the pins. as you look the connector from outside from left to right pin1 +V pin2 Vbat pin3 data +/- pin4 data +/- pin5 indication/command pin6 GND pin7 GND. When i connected +V 5.2 Volt and GND with pin5 grounded when you turn the phone on it says connected to pc if you leave pin5 unconnected it says charger disconnected and with 180k or 220k resistance between pin5 and gnd it charges and works normally. Hope to help others. |
