GT-S5830i Stuck in boot loop - GSM-Forum

A customer has given me the above phone (UK model). The phone is stuck in a boot loop. Starts, shows Samsung model, then black, then samsung model again, then to Samsung logo, pauses for a bit then starts again.

I have tried holding power and vol down
I have tried holding power, vol down and home
I have removed battery then held above key combinations and placed battery back in

The phone is connecting via USB as I here the tone through the speakers.

Phone not detected in ODIN or Kies.

Cannot reset, cant access factory wipe, recovery mode.

Any suggestions please?

for factory reset press home and power button

Yes tried that kathir, still nothing im afraid. Any other suggetions pls?
