Samsung Blank Screen - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I got a Samsung (T500).Which is ok in all aspect and only its internal & External both LCD's are blank,but LCD lights on.So what be the problem any body please suggest how to repair it.If its ribbon problem so how can I repair the ribbon.I need pics and guide to repair it.Please reply me ASAP coz my customer will kill me

why he wants to kill you? have you done something wrong with his phone and now you have the white screen? post more details !

Probably the Flex cable is damaged .This usually happens with extensive use or may also happen if the phone is opened incorrectly .The best way to repair it will be to change the complete LCD (Big and small lcd with the flex cable) whick will take less than 5 minutes.

Can't I repair the flex cable.any help or guide which I can download.I already repaired 9210 Flex cable a month back.Can't I repair samsung's or not.Or Can't I get only samsung flex cable without LCD from market

PLease reply ASAP

flexipapers r easily available in the market and they r not costly too. so y to bother. go n get a new one.

@balouch flex cables = flexi papers.Although its the first time i have heard them called flexi papers

If you can find out exactly which tracks are damaged you can surely repair the old flex cable though only temporarily,because the copper wire that you will use to make jumpers will have a very limited life.

Chinese Flex cables are available very easily ,you can even ask your neighbouring foothpath seller, probably he will have some too,so the problem is not getting a flex cable the problem is getting it to work,first removing the big and small lcd from the old flex then soldering them onto the new.its certainly not impossible but its not easy either.try it and please post results.

i also have one samsung A800 which has blank screen and after i put new screen still its the same.i also flashed it but still both in and out lcds r blank..can somebody sort the problem for me

Its not easy to change the ribbon of the Samsung LCD. I took nearly 3 hrs just to do 1 LCD.. Tiring job
