S300 no power with LCD


hello
i have one s300 seem dead but when you remove lcd
the phone could power on

i think is a short circuit

i try with new ribbon ->same pb

need a solution

please help

try it with a working LCD from another phone...if it does the same ...please make sure your battery is ok ...the LCD draws a lot of power due to the backlight. If its not the battery then ...may the force be with U its a hardware problem on the PCB..in that case I would look at the power supply cirquit again.

any luck? I am facing the same prob....backlight of the lcd was off then tried some soldering of joints on the bottom of the lcd and then phone turned off permanently... probably i have s/c something instantly and now phone doesn't turn on... what do you suggest? checked fuse..
Service manual says that i should check the bridge on the lcd connector but dont which part is that....

I think LCD is just damajed or wet. Also check it for shorts
