i9100 Digitiser fixing after lens replace

I replaced the lens on the i9100 here but in doing so I removed some of the sticky sponge between the lens and around the soft touch keys especially. Although I scratched the screen in the repair I think the problem is caused by the lens not being completely level.

Where can I get that sponge?

Real shame nobody has any advice.
I'd like to clean the screen scratches with erosional paste but would that break the touchscreen?

Everyone is trying to keep a low profile in this glass replacement repair buisness and all you want is to ask where to find sponge and how to clean the surface LOL and In future please use PM to chat.

If i were you i won't be bother too much of the scratches. Most important is to keep the surface grease free and no dirt before bonding the glass onto the LCD.As for the sponge tape you mention earlier on, it can simply be replace by any 3m double side tape.
