Brothers,

I received this i9100 because charging andwifi problem.Solved the charging issue but wifi cannot ON / grayed.Tried software downgrade and upgrade still same but bluetooth working good.Any solution?Pls help powerstars!Thank you

flash your phone if not ok !!

there is very little chance to fix this problem
most cases its hardware issue

tried flashing to stock gingerbread 2.3.6 and 4.0 still same.Which part on schematic to check/test for wifi only problem?

check MOD201 and r203,r204,r206,r207 it is possible that the liquid from the back-up batter to have leaked out and corrpde them thus making the circuit unoperable!

I have one on hand, selling cheap, with this issue

bluetooth working ok, so IC should be ok I guess.

changing or replacing the Battery didn't do the trick ...
all above didn't work, so I think its not worth wasting time.

1-check u501 output on c542=2.8v if not rehot or replace u501pmic
2-check r203/r204/r205/r206/r207=2.8v
*if yes check r203/r204/r205/r206/r207 (crack damge etc...)
*if not make a jump wire for c542=2.8v pinout to r203/r204/r205/r206/r207 that is attachecd to each other same side that will appears using multimeter buzzer sound when you get noise
3-resolder or replace mod201(wifi ic)
