My wife busted her phone and I have replaced the digitizer/LCD assembly. Now the touch part on the new screen wont work if the phone boots with the new screen plugged in. If I start the phone on the busted one and then switch over it works fine. I ordered a second assembly and it was stuck in the boot loop before I tore the cable on it when i dropped it. Any ideas? anybody had this problem?

I am having the exact same issue. I read a post that recommended doing a soft reset, which I did and it made not difference. The phone will loop the start up screen unless I plug in the old screen. As soon as it is powered down, it starts looping the start screen again. Please let me know if you figure this issue out. Thanks

I haven't had any luck finding a fix yet

same situation here, i have 2 boards for fixing both are at boot loop when i plug new lcd, after starting and i plug lcd, there is image but no digitizer working.

p.s.
found that you need to downgrade to 4.4.2 because we have not OEM parts.
will try it soon, if i can
