I got to mention 3 things more:

- On battery or charger connected, board becomes very hot.
- Riff box does't recognise this phone at all
- PC doesn't recognise phone eather.

samsung gt-i9505 turn on problem
1. check or replace the two capacitors C835 and C838 (number 1)
(Repeated measure with avo meter or psu)
2. if the charger is still hot when in his third locker) number 2)

I would check if there is voltage on power button , change the power ic , if there was an short on pcb , there will be high current consuption on power suply , check if quartz freqvency is ok.

Hi ! i am entering in your same club...

i have received an i9505 with the same problem, when i connect power supply to battery terminal, it goes to 0.04a - 0.05a consumption and doesn't power on.

If i press power button, nothing happen.
Tried to replace MAX power ic... nothing.
Reballed U800... nothing.

Many voltage missing, especially S4_1P8 which is very important.

If the current 50ma that means the VPH _PWR line shorted most of the cases,(you can check it easily wit multi meter) so all the components which use this voltage can be faulty.
Some times very easy to fund the faulty components when it is a capacitor, because its burning or damading itself.
My suggestion:
1. Look through the whole main board (with microscope) and if you fund a burned, broken capacitor just broke it down
2. Remove the U800 and give 4 volts to the output VPH _PWR with your powersuply, in this case the shorted components gonna heating up (be careful because it will be very hot)
