N910 note 4 dead tryed to repair failed need help - GSM-Forum

Hi my friend, i have a n910 whit water damage, the phone was dead...
Before every repair test i get this value

When i buy, connected to power supply 0.00 A pushing power button 0.00 A

Changed the big power ic i get 0.00 A pushing power button 0.10A but when release return to 0.00A

Changed MPB01 (small power supply) and small power ic ( max77843 ) when connected get 0.01A when push button and stay pushed 0.94A when release return to 0.01A

Can anyone help me?

hi i am also having the same problem My phone is not water damaged i think but i bought it used it was working fine suddenly it started rebooting again and again after 3-5 minutes thn it stopped charging and when i rehot the MPB01 it just went DEAD....i have replaced MPB01 ..the big power ic also ...the baseband power ic also but not the MAX77843...i apply 4.1 voltage and push the power button the current is stuck at 0.44 and some times 0.07 sometimes 0.38 ...i dont know what to do with it if anyone has the solution kindly tell us thanks

I may have a similar issue and need to check for your current draw symptoms. What version of SM-N910 do you have? N910T for T-Mobile?

hi i am having N910F and everytime i power on the device it gets stuck on different readings

Well can't find a schematic for your phone
But check capacitors/diodes/ resistors /coils arround ic power if shorted or cracked and replace

Probleme didn't solved
Rehot or replace emmc ic

hi thanks for the reply but are you sure it is related to the emmc? the phone is not even booting and i have checkd all the coils and resistors diodes etc near all the power ic's...before changing the power ic at the back of the processor it was booting but used to get stuck but when i rehotted the power ic behind the cpu with very less heat it never booted again
