r220 black display - GSM-Forum

i have a r220 set which is not dead but can be switched on , but the screen is blackish color , when i try to do custom eeprom reset it also does not clear it , it is not the fault of the LCD display , when i do custom reset and then switch on the set i service LED also does not flicks ..
what should be the problem...

1 use the code for lcd contrast

2 change the eprom ic result 100 ok

just use ust5.6 or vsh progam click on repair contact service if it didnt go then enter custom eprom reset code problem solved

i have repaired that problem in the phone , by giving a little heat to the board..
but now i am getting one more problem..
the network is OK but CALL FAILED & NETWORK FAILURE messege , i cannot call any number..

help

its common problem in samsung phones,you just rehot the PA,everything will be ok.no need to change it.

type:*#9988*523*0# now push up and down arrow till
there comes any display or push the green (call button) after this it must work. After that push red button and contrast is set.
