S2 i9100 Water damage, dead but 2.00a draw from psu, ****n components

I have an s2 which is water damaged and does not switch on. When connected to psu, there is a 2.00a reading which makes me think that there is a short in the board.

Opened it up for saw this:

I have another s2 which I can farm components from.

Could someone advise me of the best way to sort replace the components, I was going to remove them and replace. Is it that simple? Some components look ****n(which might explain the short). I have cleaned with ipa but that green residue looks hard to clean off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
