What do you mean by reheating? Hold a soldering iron on to it? Or re solder each of the pin connections?

Can you clarify what needs to be done with the lines marked? Check the continuity of these connections? What did you do if there was a failed connection?

reheating means flow it with hot air not resolder

After long hours testing various methods, finally this works for me, I remove the IC, clean board surface, refresh solder parts on PCB and IC too, and solder again and phone now works fine, thanks very much.

Hello!

I reflow 20794S1A chip and s4 still working! (12 hours already!) The earlier problem was a "no sim card" or reboot the phone. it may work! We will see! Thanks for solution!

Hey Guys,

got the same problem here with my S4, and I'd like to try to reheat the IC.
Did you use a normal hairdryer for that?
Do the surrounding components have to be protected from the heat? For example with using a nozzle with a small outlet?

Thanks in advance.
