U3000 CP PMIC What i can say, only one - the Great Job And what do you have?....Nothing? I'm suppose - Дырку от бублика..... OK, now a little bit of theory "How to repair dead phone with oscilloscope" Why oscilloscope, you can ask? Look. The cell-phone is a classic MPS (micro processor system). It contains CPU, memory, data BUS, address BUS, timing oscillator and some peripherys. This MPS working when timing clock is present. If no timing - MPS is dead. In case of cell-phone, it contains MPS and periphery (keyboard/touch, transceiver, SIM reader and so on). In all cell-phones present two important clocks - 1. So called "sleep clock" - 32,768 kHz. It is the same in all phones and other electronic equipment. 2. So called "Main system clock" - 24 MHz for Samsung, 38 MHz for Nokia and so on (depends from model). What is "sleep clock" provide? When this clock is present, CPU can see that you press POWER button on the phone. What is next? CPU give command to PMIC to turn on phone. If the "Main system clock" is present, CPU can load the software to operating memory and the main phone OS is start. So you can see - no oscilloscope, no real opportunity to repair dead phone. BR. P.S. You can download the software "Sound card oscilloscope", you be able to check 32,768 kHz - www.UO5OQ.com GSM Форум |

Member: 1825965 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 874 | hi KorAll thanks for very useful mini lesson but i've a question .. i've alreadi replaced same series of components of Hum e also my problem is not solved. I've replaced OSC5000 problem not solve , so even is try to ceck with oscilloscope what changes.. I admit to have replaced the whole set of components that have to do with the power line but I'm convinced that the problem is the CPU .. it's already the third phone I try to fix with the same problem .. thank you |

You must check Vbat at C7005, C7006 (top side of picture). At the right sight of pic. you must check: NPOWER - power for AP. AP_RST_IN_N - reset signal for AP. AP_PMIC_IRQ - interruption signal. PMIC_CLK_32K - signal 32,768 kHz at TP7003 (buffer output). CP_CLK_32K - signal 32,768 kHz to CP. AP_CLK_32K - signal 32,768 kHz to AP at TP7002. All this signals must be present, when you press and hold power button (SW_ON must present at the left side of pic.). @HUM Hi, dear. I'm not conjecture the cause of damage. I have measure voltages on all IC's, check all signals, check all ways and some other. Only after that i shall decide - what to do... @7ope Sleep current 0,2 ~ 7 mA (milliampere) Charger spec (5.0V - 2A, 9.0V - 1,67A) adaptive. | |
