Some more details about your problem?
Like volt at CC at input of charging ic at output of charging ic at batt. connector ?
will help you to get proper help

charging volt 5.6 ok but battery connecter plus tips .65 volt

Check @ output of Charging ic
If fluctuation in volt then change the IC or put Diode
