Samsung D500 LCD flex connector damaged - GSM-Forum

Hi
I have a d500 that needed a change of lcd so when i tried taking the flex cable off the main board, the black clip that opens/closes wass loose and snatched off.
Now i cant close the flex cable and the top part of phone doesnt light on,
Is there anyway around this problem??

in my area you can buy a complete socket including (black clip ) , you have to remove the clip carefully then put it to your's ,if you can't buy it , remove another one from another phone (e800, e810, e820 or d410...)

i think that (e850) have the same dimensions as your d500 ;,

if you get one smaller clip , cut 0.5mm from right , and 0.5mm from left
put it in the middle carefully and push it safe, AND ENJOY

Could u possibly tell me where i can purchase from because this would be the easiet option for me rather than take it off another phone.

you can buy them on ebay mate about £8 put this number in 9728626257 on the ebay uk site there was just over 3 days left when i seen it

No bruv u got it wrong i dont mean the flex cable i mean the holder where u insert the flex into
I checked ebay nothing happening
