Samsung F480 problem - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have a Samsung SGH-F480. Someone tried to MMS me today, but it wasn't a normal MMS (or the Samsung wasn't reading it as a normal MMS). The icon in my inbox is different - it is a picture of an envelope, and behind it is a purple box with an 'i' in it. What is this? When i go into the message, it tells me the date, from, size and expiration. i click on options, and the first one is retrieve. When I click it, it tries to retrieve it but instead tells me 'Retrieving failed. No response. Try Again?'

My carrier could not help me, they went through the MMS settings and they were correct, I also tried sending myself an MMS which worked and getting someone else to MMS me which also worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

first thing you asking in wrong section ! its hardware repair area !
second of all the icon should be described in user manual !

Where else am I supposed to post it then? I cannot find my phone model in any of the other topics, so this seemed the most logical area considering it says 'repairing hints OR "problems with Samsung phones."'

As for it being in the manual, sadly it is not, I would not be posting here if it was. I have been through the manual several times.
