Same problem (I have not discarded display), This is the manual that I have and the values are not stable and are lower.

https://mega.nz/#!gdRhlbjJ!G89j9rCVA...OXP7gyj_xzoVaU

And, This two capacitors are in short, removing the 2 capacitors the short remains, the capacitors are fine, is it normal?

Thanks guys!

No, it is not normal. Check U5006 and U6004 on the second picture.

those 2 caps are mentioned for mobile network reception. just checked them on my other phones mainboard, they are peepsing on diode mode also, so they should be ok on your board too.

the display problem still remains. i have changed the U6004 and now also the U5006 but i still have no picture on display. the values on C6039 and C6038 are lower then in the service manual (under 1V and are not constant), so maybe the U6004 is still not OK ? maybe this new one was faulty?

OK, I went back to measuring values BUT this time with a battery (previously it was with a power supply and the values were very low and are now more stable), this was the result:

c6039= 2v88 or 2v97
c6038= 1v72 or 1v78

c6041= 6v69 or 6v89
c6043= 4v40 or 4v53
c6042= -3v17 or -3v07

measuring in manual

c6039= 3v0
c6038= 1v8

c6041= 7v6
c6043= 4v6
c6042= 4v0

I still do not have an image.

Thanks!

Hi @KorAll First, thank you very much for being attentive to our thread.

the voltages were measured in the capacitors, the capacitors give continuity to the following points of the HDC6002 -image-. If the display is disconnected there are no voltages in the capacitors.

I have not tested on a connector HDC6002 because it is difficult, but since it has continuity between the connector and the capacitors, I guess that the voltage arrives correctly

Remember that only using the battery there are "somewhat correct" values

OK, voltages is GOOD (or near good condition), try the next -

1. Check your LCD with other good phone.

2. Check other LCD with your phone.

I can't comment video, because haven't this phone under repair now. And no full LCD's pins destination in service manual. Only you can find out reason.

I'm sorry, it's seems to be too late to post this anything else. But i'm hope that my info would be very usefull for many and many peoples. Very small bit of theory, about "How LCD working".

It is pic from Samsung N7000 service manual. As you can see - both (N7000 and J510FN) have 5.3" super amoled LCD, the same 40 pins connector as HDC6002 in J510FN. And you can see that there are many additional signals that provide correct LCD working.

Remember - only one signal OLED_ID inform CPU that LCD connected. Then CPU command to provide all other volts and signals, but..........are they present at HDC6002 or not - it is the second question.

All this volts and signals must present at LCD. Some info about signals -

LCD_D0 - LCD_D3 it is data BUS
LCD_CLK - synchronization signal
TSP_SDA - I(2)C bus
TSP_SCL - I(2)C bus
TSP_INT - I(2)C bus interruption signal
EL_ON - enable back light
MLCD_RST_2.2V - LCD reset signal

Remember - LCD reset signal is main LCD signal. It comes from CPU, when you turn on phone. If this signal absent (or very bad) - no any image on LCD (even broken picture).

Check this pic with your HDC6002. I think, they must consist (in principle, as minimum). It would be very usefull if someone have real HDC6002 pinout for J510FN. But we have only that, what we have...

Take oscilloscope and check all volts and signals. They, who haven't oscilloscope - your way is long and hard.

But sometimes, after spending many times and forces, you may have success...

The real case from my practice - the LCD reset way was good, but no LCD reset signal....No...(CPU inside damage - buffer transistor's output good, but no input LCD reset signal). And what to do?...

Some times it is possible to do emulation for LCD reset signal... But it is at all other history.
