Samsung galaxy note 10.1 u505 (ncp367) **** off


Hi. There is a way to bypass u505 (ncp367) in galaxy note 10.1??? Maybe jumper or something or should i have to replace this chip.

ic vol detector U505 (ncp367) with part number: 1203-006766 you can get the samsung below:

So i have to buy one for this ic… I read about ncp367 and there is no way to bypass this chip i think.

its ovp (over volts protection) ic on charging line. you can bypass by jumpper from C512 to C508.

I've done this jumper before. Galaxy starts working but it wont charging.

check volt at pin 5 of U505. and reply in post.

I've made mistake bro I've made jumper with to thin wire and when i connect charger it melt up. I'll try to make it right and i will post you. Thanks for helping me.

Very strange thing... a i don't have 5v on c512... i don't know why. I've checked connection between c512 and dock connection and everything fine, i've checked cable, charger... maybe tape between dock connector and mainboard is failed.

Ok, now i find a short circuit on one capacitor. It's charging again but when i connect it to the computer it's not recognized it... there is no reaction on pc exept it's start charging.

Everything is working fine... Original cable was faulty the simplest solutions are the best. Thanks for helping. I hope this thread will be useful for somebody.
