Samsung galaxy note 2: safe to change only the front glass? - GSM-Forum

hello my friend has a galaxy note 2 and his screen cracked off. not the digitizer just the upper part of the lens broke.

can anybody tell is it safe to get the glass lens changed without effecting the digitizer ??

The real digitizer in the galaxy note 2 is a sticker on the back of the actual group len-lcd so if the front glass is broken you need to change the lcd.
the operation is a so slow job to be done and so high risk to not be really sure if is not a better idea to replace all the whole assembly and be safe.
