Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 Lcd Problem - green colors

Hello everybody
I have a question regarding Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 that i recieved today.
My friend was trying to open it (it was working from the beginning) but gave up after few minutes of trying to pry the back housing.

When he tried to turn it on, the colors on the LCD were wrong.
Did he damage the LCD? or something went wrong and he damaged the motherboard?

I would be greatful for any information. Thank you
