Member: 1990310 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Samsung Galaxy S1 i9000 IMEI mismatch I was wondering if any advice can be given on how to restore/change the IMEI number of my Samsung Galaxy S 1 i9000. I've tried a lot of roms, no matter what I do, it always restores to the 0049xxx IMEI - which is the generic IMEI number associated with the S1. I've documented all my working on this XDA thread (which can be found online - I can't post links as my post count is under 10) - Search for " [Q] IMEI / EFS problem - Any suggestions?" in XDA under "TotallydubbedHD" Are there any solutions? Currently my options stand at: -Using the SRS server IMEI repair -Going into a phone shop Both the above cost at least £20 to do. Wondering if there's anything I can do for free on my end, to try and get it working. Sending it do Samsung would cost me £120. Would really appreciate any help and any sort of methods to get it back to its original state. I must say out of all the S1's I've ever flashed and helped users with, this is the first ever S1 to have lost its IMEI, whilst not being flashed. Magically did it on its own via an OTA service upgrade from a SIM provider (virgin). Cheers! |
