Replaced U503 (Charger control) due to dead by water damage - now battery disconnected after 1 second of plugging charger/USB. any ideas please ?! (it's already been a year...) |

Member: 1469561 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Battery Disconnected I9100 The phone was back from dead upon replacing U503 (Charging IC). Since then there was a "High or Low Battery Temperature" message when plugging charger/USB cord and immidiately "Battery Disconnected". I fixed the Temp issue with 39K fixed resistor instead of TH401. But now still remain with "Battery Disconnected" when plugged... When phone is off and plugged I get the yellow triangle with Battery sign striked through (see pic attached) Please any help appreciated! |

Member: 1469561 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Battery Disconnected fault Like mRC said, there is no issue with the battery (I replaced it several times)... Which IC or pin schematic controls the BAT presence ? Still waiting for solution. |
