Samsung Note 3 Sm-N900 Gyro/Acellerometer IC Replacement

Hi,

I have reflowed 2 Gyro/Acellerometer's successfully and replaced another one successfully.

The one I am having trouble had liquid damage and 4 of the pads we're damaged and lifted further upon removal. I have replaced a brand new IC but I need to know if there are any alternative points I can jumper to from the chip to complete the circuit.

The picture attached points towards the pads that are missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You are lucky, that legs are NC (not connected)
The NC pads are come up easily...

any suggestions on why is it not working? I ordered two replacements IC's directly from Samsung (my shop does authorized warranty work) and I'm still getting nothing in the Sensor test screen.

Thank you very much! I was fairly sure that they were NC pads but I thought I'd double check with people that have more experience than myself.

From that schematic I can't see how the 4 pads that I lifted were all NC?

The dot is at the first leg, so your missing pads are the 16, 17, and the 19, 21

oh ok to RESV and AUX_DA are still technically NC's. I'll hopefully take a look at the board sometime tomorrow. Thanks again!

I have a SM-N900W8 Note 3. I tried locating the capacitors from the schematic you provided off of the SM-N900 service manual but the layout is different and doesn't allow me to locate them.

Any suggestions?

SM-N9005

More few things, which are can help you to find the fault easier.
-All sensors use this voltage: VREG_LVS1_1P8 and data lines (SENSOR_I2C_SCL, ..._SDL) so if all other sensors (light, baro, proxy) are works fine than the U201 and the U606 probably working properly.
In this case remain two things: soldering defect or component fault

I hope I could help

Thanks you for all your support! Nothing on the *#0*# Sensor test works but the replacement IC was purchased directly from Samsung so I am almost certain that it is not the fault. Does this mean it's more likely the u201 or u606?

I also replaced the 8RHD component with a non pentaband Note 3 model with a different label. Could this have any affect on the Gyro/Acellerometer not working?
