Samsung R220 No Service Repair - GSM-Forum

I have an R220 with service fluctuation problem. Sometimes the service comes on and stays for some few seconds, and then it vanishes again and remain like that, sometimes for more than an hour. Please i would like to know how to repaur this fault.

Try to repair EEPROM, or full flash. But I think its HW problem. Rehot PA (or change if you have spare !) !!!

check the ring tone it it is abnorml resolder or change time crystal,else try to rehot or change signal processor

the history of the phone is important here. I should ask Sunnytek whether he ahd change the casing of that phone before...hence this is the normal approach to take:
Reset phone
rehot antenna switch
change PA

Can you get a repair picture book , you can see the inscrption on the R220 pcb diagram or check this site: www.insidegsm.com

I have T100 .It writes (no servise ) on the screen.I changed the antenna and ,i rehot the PF with no result .what should i do ?plz help.

This problem is a h/w.so use a thin copper wire to loop the external antenna base and service will be stable.
all u need:1 soldering iron,2 thin wire,3 lead.

Can any one advance me :I have R220 ,it writes (call failed )upon calling .Imake to it software by a twister ,it dead .Thanks !!!

write the new eprom and flash by ustpro

remove e61 - e62

replace the pa ans switch anntena

test the connctor anntena
