samsung r220 strange problem - GSM-Forum

friends samsung r220 when power up without sim,show insert sim card in different language, i put sim and change it into english.... but one thing when go in menu sometime it hangs and show please wait and sometime lcd light goes dim and phone is off....furthur remove sim card and turn on the phone again phone language is changed....*2767*2878# i try this also but not solved....phone imei last 4 digits (0448)

so .... the language is no problem ... maybe the internal battery of the phone is no good anymore ... and this is why the phone cannot remember the language you choose... Check the language if is on automatic. If so is normal for this to happen.
Usually when phone is on Automatic language ... when u plug the card will choose appropriate language for that card country of origin ...
The second problem ... is PCB problem ... Is phone casing Original? If not try to find original casing and the phone will work ok.
If phone casing is original ... try to use some hot air on the main chips ... ( and don't press to hard on buttons ) the PCB pf the phone is very thin.
