samsung ribbon cable compatibility? - GSM-Forum

Hi ppl !

Which ribbon cables are compatible with each other out of the all samsung models etc ?

for e.g ! i,ve got a E810 which needs its ribbon changing and when ever i search for a replacement i get offered an E800 ribbon cable ?? will this work in a E810?

Also is there a correct method to put these ribbons into these phones for some strange reason they seem to last only a couple of weeks before i get the white screen of death again ! lol

help guys plz !!

unfortunately with samsung you cannot switch ribbons.each one is for a specific model.although size might be the same current dirction and layout is not.ribbons are cheap so its not a problem.
