Member: 1916693 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Samsung s2 i9100 water damaged no power on I bought this phone on ebay thinking it would be a straight lcd screen replacement which I have ordered. Upon receiving and opening the phone I discover lots of white powder and phone was this weird smell. I've cleaned the white power with alcohol or metholated spirits. But I can't seem to turn the phone on. I've also tried heating the U501 and other areas. I can't measure the voltage on the motherboard components for some reason with just a new samsung battery and also with battery and mini usb cable pluged in. Maybe I am not doing it right. I've been trying it to do it from above with the motherboard still attached to the screen. Is it as simple as replacing just the power flex cable? I've ordered this part and awaiting delivery. Is that why I have no voltage on the motherboard? Sorry if I seem noob. Thanks in advance for any help. |
