samsung s5 retrieve lost files

Hi its my first time on this site so all new to me hello everybody hope some one can help me one way or other I pressed back up and reset on my Samsung s5 last night thinking I can retrieve my file pics apps contact appointments ect ect so this morn found all have gone I have followed loads of guides and can not get not one thing back either you get so far then say you have to pay a fortune to continue then I got one which was doing ok downloaded oden then presed volume up and power ok got onto oden ok then I can just not download philztouch 6.26 doing my head in if I can get to no if I can get some pics and apps and contacts back or not if I can how some instructions anything that will help, please please
