Samsung SGH-A300 soldering accident Hi All, I soldered out the eeprom from the phone and I removed by mistake a "little part" near the eeprom too. The "little part" fell down and I can't find it. Now the phone is restoring the factory settings after each turn-on. I looked for this "little part" in the service manual and I found its name and value, but I don't know what kind of electronic device is. Its name is: V619 (at the top-left position from the eeprom) The value according with the part list: 5.6V 20A 1X0,5X0,6mm TP Can anyboby tell me what type of electronic device is it? Whit what can I replace it? (short-cut, etc...) If not this "little part" is the cause for this behaviour, what is it? Thank you in advance for your reply. ____Kevin____

Thanks for reply, but if it is a zenner diode than why are "ZD" marked parts in the part list (e.g. ZD400 UPS5817, 20V, 1A SMD, TP)? It is a "V" marked part (V619). What is it meaning? If it is a zenner, what is its polarity? What is its function? Thanks for answers. ____Kevin____

I think my problem is not this "little part", because the Imei is 0000000000000/0. I think my eeprom is partialy out of order. Can be just a software problem, but I don't know how to solve it. ____Kevin____

All of the soldering are good. I didn't change the hex in the eeprom, I read it only. Can I repair the phone (with a new eeprom) if the eeprom died? I have the hex, but I don't sure it's not wrong... ____Kevin____
