Screen and Active flip not working - GSM-Forum

HI i have a samsung E710 everything was working untill i changed the cover.

Now the top screen works when i turn the phone on the goes off, Also the active flip does not work.

can anyone help

i fing is the flex cable

you have spoiled the flex while changing the cover. you have to replace with yuo one to make the screen work fine.
concerning the active folder, look in the old cover at the screen part for a small round silver iron, it's located under the camera and it's magnetic. Remove it and put it in the new cover and active folder will work 100%

and your small display wil work,too!
Don´t worry,you haven´t damaged anything,just have to put magnet inside new cover!
