SGH A800 Switch on problem - GSM-Forum

Hello,
Firstly Hi to everyone, this being my first post.
My problem is that a few weeks ago I downloaded a ringtone to my daughters A800 through a USB cable from my PC. When I tried to switch the phone on to check it had worked it just flashed on/off 3 times and went dead. I removed the battery, replaced it and tried again, same 3 on/off flashes. I then sent it to Turnonyourmobile in London after having spoke to them, and them telling me it must be a software corruption problem. I got it back after they "Flashed" it and all was well for 2 days, then the same again. I sent it back they "Flashed" it again, got it back, fine for 2 days, then my daughter put it on charge and afterwards back to flashing on/off 3 times before going dead. When I contacted them again they said it was now not financially viable to try again, Any ideas what the problem is. Is it worth putting somewhere else for repair, and if so does anyone know a better place to get it repaired in the UK. Thanks
