stange problem with n900 note3 phone. pls help - GSM-Forum

hi i have samsung n900 note3 phone, its brand new bought it from abroad , middle east. its not chiness copy i checked its genuine but not europe model. im trying with sim card but allways saying "sim not inside". insert sim. is it because its not uk region? can some one please help what shall i do? thanks in adavnce
