search for the old unlocking software, there is a option "repair system failure".
"Please wait" is HW problem, in most cases PA is damaged.

always rewrite eeprom with a power supply unit ,not battery power supply.
use a PC system to re write your phone eeprom.

My 2400 has a invalid IMEI number probably written by some unlocking program

I took out the eeprom and wrote a virgin bin with good IMEI but phone still displays "system failure" and IMEI remains the same

How to re-write IMEI back? Do i need a flasher cable? All i have is an unlock cable and Universal Box 3.0

thanks
