U600 Charging fault

Hi guys,

I have a Samsung u600 that does not charge, I have replaced the charger block already as this was damaged but I guess it must have ****n another component when it shorted out.

I am looking for the charger ways or service manual so I can trace it back.

If anyone has any suggestion pls feel free to post and help a fellow member out.

Thank-you

Fonetec

Hey

What happens when you plug charger in ?
Please check the charge ic which is the small square not far from charger connector.

First check the connectors pins, then remove the Zenner Diode !
If STILL not working measure and resolder the described components.

2 TAZMAN check the UCP 300 if not too glued.

Also you can check the U501 ic as well under the charging socket.

U should check the pins in the charging socket carefully first then try other solutions.
90% of u600 with charging prob is the socket only.
