water damaged Samsung S5


is it possible to repair an S5?
The device was only in water for a few seconds, but there was an opening in the back cover which let the water in.
opening it there's only that changed colour bit.
otherwise looks ok.

can you please tell me if it a write-off case?

it all dependends whether saltwater or tapwater if phonr has been shortcircuited due to battery inside you must be lucky for it to work again!!

well, I sent it to Samsung repair, no idea what they will say, I thought they can replace anything! and it is salt water, pity!

GOOD NEWS

well, I was preparing to buy a new one, now I got news.

it will be repaired, price is: £156 only, screen's gone, and needs replacement.

seems like I am back to life again, and it's IN warranty from then on.
