x460 insert sim - GSM-Forum

hello,
i have one x460 with insert sim problem here... phone is little bit water damaged around sim socket.
i tryed to change it (sim socket) but still no result, please anyone have layout around sim socket with tracks? i have service manual but i i cannot open it in adobe acrobat

(dont know why)

1.properly cleaning and dry .
2.sim chamber is important to work on.
3.check sim card.
4.check sim card connector .

I am sorry but you must to "open" that SM file. And check this: did you have "short cut" between pin 1 and pin 5 of SIM reader conn. ; did you have + VBAT on C431(it is very important!) ; lift up C403 (maybe you have little oxide under it)...and try than.

If all of that is OK, than you must to reball power-ic (C50601E-PHILIPS), or to change it (because of water damage).

I have problem with acrobat reader, i already reinstall it but still the same - if i open it i have blank pages

with nokia SM no problem

please is it possible to make me screenshot from service manual and post it here? only with layout to know which cond. is c431 and c403 + tracks...
