W800i keypad - GSM-Forum

HI all been reading the forums and learned ALOT but...

My 2,5,8,0 keys are not working all the others are what do you think the prob is?(changed keypad with no luck)
Also my camera goes on when slide is opened but then straight off again.
Please help.thanks

you will need to change the inner keypad board to fix this problem, a t6 screwdriver will be needed to open the phone

have changed inner keypad board with no luck

( do you think it could be the ic or maybe where the keyboard plugs in??

if you have changed the keypad board it should be the ic that where the problem is
we can fix phone, only for £20.00

REPAIR NOT WORKING KEYPAD

1-ATTACH PHONE
2-GOTO GDFS PAGE
3-CHOOSE APPLY LANGUAGE LOCK PATCH FROM THE MODIFY GDFS OPTIONLIST AND PRESS THE MODIFY GDFS BUTTON

bro check key pad jack if water damge wash thiner or ctc if not work re sold kay pad jack proprly i think solved ur problom

It is hardware problem, Clean board in ultrasound cleaner for 5 mintues in a solution 2parts CTC+1Part Thinner, dry it in infrared heater on 160 temp, then cool it and reassemble the phone, it will work 100%

just change keypad driver which is the small glass ic,same as k700.

I have this problem on K750i too : Keys 1,2,3 not working.
I change key board and IC for key and not help me .... keys 1,2,3 not work again. I check all diodes around joy, check joy not help me.

I think that problem was in Power Ic or CPU /is glued/ ...

REPAIR IN CRUISER is not working for me, It is hardware problem!

is your power botton working fine? going on and off normally without removing the battery?

Yes Power button working OK, phone power ON and Power OFF is normal ...

Phone was after water damage, i clean ultrasonic, change keypad IC and board too

dear all there are one soulation to this problem.you must change key pad driver.its glass ic called z2450 its near by joy stick switch.if there water damged i think you must chk tracks but its defficult in w800 & k750
z2450 is the same in k700 & k300

hay i have a w800i that is joystick left down not work then same time rerurn key,7,8,9 not work.i check that keyboard is ok then check motherboard connector i see that one pin that is link with 7,8,9 is connection not found plz tell me what is problem and do any body have schemetic.plz urgent i am online..
